There are two Sanghas in Birmingham,                                                                            Birmingham Sangha and  Leaves of One Tree Sangha (Bournville),                     details of both are below.

Birmingham Sangha

Our members come from many spiritual and philosophical backgrounds so diversity is welcome since anyone can benefit from mindfulness as a spiritual path.

We use e mail to keep people updated. You are welcome to ring and have a chat before you decide whether to come along and see if you like what we do.

Leaves of One Tree Sangha, Bournville, Birmingham.

We are a group of people who meet to join in meditation and share teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh (“Thay”) on Buddhism. People of any faith or no faith, experienced meditators or beginners, young and old are welcome and you can join us at any time of the year. No previous experience of meditation is required.

During the evening we may enjoy guided meditations, slow walking meditation and silent sitting meditation. We also share Buddhist readings, mindful speech and deep listening.

Dates for 2020 ….

Our physical meetings are suspended at present. However, we now meet online every Thursday evening from 7.15 to 8.45pm.

For further information about our online sessions please contact Howard by email: or by phone on 07811 255 789.

When we are able to gather in person we meet at Bournville Friends Meeting House, 65 Linden Road, Bournville, B30 1JT. The meeting house with a small car park is right next to a No 11 bus stop and is under a large cedar tree. If the car park is full there is nearby street parking available on Woodbrooke Road and Sycamore Road. We do ask for a small donation to cover the cost of room hire. When coronovirus guidance allows we will meet from 7.15pm to 9.15pm on alternate Thursdays. Please arrive at 7.00pm to be ready for a 7.15pm start so we have time to settle before we begin.

We are active within the West Midlands Sangha area of the community of Interbeing and share days of mindfulness with the other Sanghas.
