No previous experience of meditation is required. Chairs are available but if you wish to sit on a mat or cushion please bring this with you. We remove our shoes so warm socks are a must especially in the winter!

During the evening we enjoy guided meditations, slow walking meditation and silent sitting meditation. We also drink tea mindfully, listen to talks by Thich Nhat Hanh, share Buddhist readings, mindful speech and deep listening.

We meet from 7.15pm to 9.15pm on the first and third Thursdays of the month. Please arrive at least 5 minutes earlier so we have time to settle before we begin.

Our meeting place is –

The Christian Community, 22 Baylie Street,Stourbridge, DY8 1AZ. There is a small car park with parking also available on the street.

We do ask for a small donation to cover the cost of room hire.

We are active within the West Midlands sangha area and share days of mindfulness with the other Sanghas, often meet socially to enjoy each other’s company.

If you wish to attend a meeting and are new to the practice it is a good idea to arrive 10 minutes earlier for an introduction to the evening. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.

Our physical meetings are suspended until further notice. However, we now meet online every Thursday evening from 7.30. to 9.00pm.

Stourbridge Book Club

Please note the Book Club is not running at present.

The book club is a wonderful excuse for drinking tea, eating cake with general chat for an hour to get to know each other a little better so strengthen the Sangha. During the second hour we discuss any experiences and insights we have gained from our reading.
